Our Pastor

Pastor Philip Trask grew up in a preacher's home, fostering his deep ministry love. He has dedicated over 38 years to full-time ministry, including 27 years as a pastor. Philip holds a bachelor's degree from Tennessee Temple University and has attended Temple Baptist Seminary. Since 2010, he has also served as the director of Sand Mountain Bible Camp.

Philip and his wife, Tracy, have been married for 36 years and are blessed with four married daughters, one son living at home, Ryan, and three grandchildren. In addition to being a supportive pastor’s wife, Tracy has an impressive background in education, holding a bachelor's degree from Tennessee Temple University and a master's and specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University. She taught high school math and science, was a school administrator, and directed an Adult Education Center.

In 2015, their lives were forever changed by a tragic accident. Tracy was in a coma for 14 days, endured multiple broken bones and life-threatening injuries, and later underwent the amputation of her leg. Philip sustained serious injuries, including a rebuilt hip and reconstructive surgery to his jaw. Through this trial, the Lord has deepened their faith and given them a profound love and empathy for hurting people.

The Trasks are passionate about sharing Christ’s love and are committed to serving the Harmony Baptist Church family and the surrounding community.
